LeCroy Wavesurfer 454 500 MHz, 4 Channel 2 GS/s Digital Oscilloscope
From its large 10.4" LCD touch screen to its space-saving small footprint, the WaveSurfer oscilloscope is a radical rethinking of the basic bench scope. It breaks the rules of conventional scope design to deliver dramatically improved signal viewing, 100x the capture time, and up-to-the-minute connectivity capabilities. But more importantly, it's designed for the way you like to work- big, sharp images of your signal, a simple, easy-to-use interface and a strong tool set for testing and debugging. Bottom line? It's not only a great fit for your bench, it's a perfect match for your budget. The WaveSurfer 400 Series' 10.4" display is 2-1/2 times the size of the 6.4" screens found on competitive oscilloscopes. And its 6" deep footprint eliminates the space penalty that comes with conventional oscilloscopes. Just looking at the screen you can see the improvement - the 800 x 600 SVGA display boasts exceptional brightness and a wide viewing angle. Signal details are clearer than ever. And you know that when you can see the signal, you can come up with the solution. That's what the WaveSurfer 400 Series oscilloscope is all about.
Long capture time Large screens show the detail - if you can capture it. The WaveSurfer oscilloscope provides all the detail you need by delivering more than 100x the capture time at full sample rate compared to other oscilloscopes in its class. It effectively eliminates the trade-off between high sample rate and long capture time. This high sample rate is especially important when capturing a mix of signals that are spaced widely apart in time, or when you require a long pre-trigger time. This means that the WaveSurfer 400 Series oscilloscope beats short-memory scopes when it comes to the debugging of common circuit problems like clock/data issues and timing errors.
Communicate all the ways you want Your list of connectivity options is extensive - from the front mounted USB port for your memory stick to the standard 10/100Base-T Ethernet port. You can document your work and communicate effectively with your group. Whether you want to save data to the oscilloscope's hard drive or a network drive, email other engineers, or send images to the printer, the WaveSurfer 400 Series oscilloscope gives you the flexibility to manage your communications easily and effectively. •Email a screen image from the oscilloscope •Save a screen image to a USB memory stick •Label waveforms on the oscilloscope

DPOs capture, store, display and analyze, in real-time, three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time and distribution of amplitude over time. The benefit of this new third dimension of information is an interpretation of the signal dynamics, including instantaneous changes and the frequency of occurrence displayed in the form of quantitative intensity information.

Tektronix TDS3034B 300 MHz, 4 Channel Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope
The TDS3000B Series of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes Provides Unmatched Performance and Portability at an Affordable Price
The TDS3034B oscilloscope packs the power of digital phosphor waveform acquisition technology, automatic anomaly detection, webbased remote control and 7 application-specific modules into a lightweight, battery-capable design.
DPO Technology Provides a New Level of Insight into Complex Signals Digital phosphor oscilloscopes display, store and analyze in real-time three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time and distribution of amplitude over time. Fast waveform capture and update rates make it easier to capture and display infrequent waveforms or waveform variations. The intensity graded color display provides information about the frequency of occurrence of signal amplitudes and widths. This helps you locate and characterize waveform anomalies that can be elusive on traditional digital storage oscilloscopes.
Enhanced Troubleshooting Ability WaveAlertTM waveform anomaly detection speeds your troubleshooting task by helping you find those elusive problems faster. WaveAlert monitors the incoming signals on all channels and will detect and highlight any waveform that deviates from the normal waveform being acquired. The TDS 3000 Series of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes The TDS 3000 oscilloscopes are the lowest priced, most portable Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes (DPOs). Now every design engineer and technician can take advantage of the tremendous benefits of DPOs. DPOs deliver a new level of insight that makes dealing with complex signals simple. DPOs display, store, and analyze, in real-time three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time.
BENEFITS OF DPO DPOs have an intensity graded color display that provides information about the frequency of occurrence of signal amplitudes and widths. This helps the user locate and characterize waveform anomalies that can be elusive on traditional Digital Storage Oscilloscopes. The fast update rate of DPOs also makes it easier to capture and display infrequent waveforms or waveform variations.

Tektronix TDS794D 2 GHz, 4 Channel Digital Oscilloscope Specifications
The TDS700D oscilloscopes are the first in the TDS family of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes (DPOs) designed to keep pace with current and evolving needs in advanced electronic design and debug. DPOs deliver a new level of insight that makes dealing with complex signals elementary – a new level of insight that must be seen to be believed.

Lecroy Wavesurfer 452 500 MHz, 2 Channel, 1 GS/s Digital Oscilloscope

Tektronix TDS724D 500 MHz, 2 Channel Digital Oscilloscope Specifications
The TDS700D oscilloscopes are the first in the TDS family of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes (DPOs) designed to keep pace with current and evolving needs in advanced electronic design and debug. DPOs deliver a new level of insight that makes dealing with complex signals elementary – a new level of insight that must be seen to be believed.

Imagine trying to efficiently use the Internet if search engines such as Google and Yahoo didn’t exist, web browser features such as Favorites and Links didn’t exist, or Internet Service Providers like AOL or MSN weren’t around. Now you know how most modern oscilloscope users feel when trying to actually use the long record length in their digital oscilloscope. Record length, one of the key specifications of an oscilloscope, is the number of samples it can digitize and store in a single acquisition. The longer the record length, the longer the time window you can capture with high resolution (high sample rate). The first digital oscilloscopes could capture and store only 500 points which made it very difficult to acquire all relevant information around the event being investigated. Over the years, oscilloscope vendors have provided longer and longer record lengths to meet market demands for long capture windows with high resolution to the point that most mid-range oscilloscopes either come standard with, or can be optionally upgraded to, multi-mega-point record lengths. These mega-point record lengths often represent thousands of screens worth of signal activity. While standard record lengths have increased greatly over the years and can now satisfy the vast majority of applications in the marketplace, tools for effectively and efficiently viewing, navigating, and analyzing long record length acquisitions have been sorely neglected until now. The DPO4000 Series redefines expectations for working with long record lengths with innovative new Wave Inspector controls.

Agilent 54845A 1.5 GHz, 4 Channel, 8 GSa/s Infiniium Oscilloscope Specifications
A deep-memory scope doesn’t have to be difficult to use. Infiniium scopes from Agilent Technologies can simplify your debugging tasks and help you easily discover intermittent problems in your design.
Infiniium scopes use advanced MegaZoom technology so you get all the benefits of fast, automatic, affordable deep memory. Due to its unique ASIC architecture, this powerful memory management system called MegaZoom can search through up to 16 million points of continuous signal history without the usual bottlenecks and frustrating delays.
Instant Response While first-generation deepmemory scopes update the display slowly, Infiniium’s MegaZoom memory management system instantaneously updates the display even with a 16 Mpts emory on. And deep memory is on all the time — so you always have the maximum available sample rate and don’t undersample or miss fast events. Discover problems you never found with your first-generation deep-memory scope.
Optimum Resolution Get the insight you need to solve your debugging challenges in a fraction of the time it used to take. Just press the Autoscale key to automatically adjust the sample rate to achieve the best waveform resolution. Then, as you change the horizontal scale to display more time and view your entire signal, MegaZoom adds more memory to give you the fastest sample rate and best resolution possible. Now you can see events as narrow as 250 ps without using a special modesuch as peak detect.
Affordable Deep Memory Every Infiniium with MegaZoom is a deep-memory oscilloscope with a standard 4 Mpt memory (or 2 Mpt memory on each channel). Memory options to 16 Mpts (or 8 Mpts on each channel) are available and cost up to 60 percent less than the price of first-generation deep memory oscilloscopes. Infiniiums are affordable enough that all of your scopes can be deep-memory models. By combining powerful features, ease of use, and the right specifications, Infiniium scopes help you find answers faster. A simple, analog-like front panel, Windows-based interface, and powerful connectivity capabilities make high-performance features accessible and uncomplicated. All with the performance and features you need for today’s demanding jobs.

Tektronix TDS3044B 400 MHz, 4 Channel, 5 GSa/s Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope
The TDS3000B packs the power of a DPO, digital real-time (DRT) sampling technology, WaveAlert waveform anomaly detection, OpenChoice documentation and analysis solutions and five application-specific modules into a lightweight,battery-capable design.
A DPO Provides a Greater Level of Insight into Complex Signals The TDS3000B Series DPO delivers 3,600 wfms/s continuous waveform capture rate to capture glitches and infrequent events three times faster than comparable oscilloscopes. Some oscilloscope vendors claim high waveform capture rates for short bursts of time, but only DPOs can deliver these fast waveform capture rates on a continuous basis – saving minutes, hours or even days by quickly revealing the nature of faults so advanced triggers can be applied to isolate them. In addition, the TDS3000B DPO’s real-time intensity grading highlights the details about the “history” of a signal’s activity, making it easier to understand the characteristics of the waveforms you’ve captured.
